A fisheries poster spotted one Christmas on the coast of North Qld inspired our latest print collection. I have always wanted to do a crustacean print but felt the concept had been done. How can I put a VH spin on it? The mock up lived rent free on my moodboard for years.
The addition of patchworking our lobster friend in bold colours was the missing piece to the crustacean dream, and really brought the idea together. Our favorite type of novelty print is where it’s not obvious what the print is until you look closer! Then you get the omg there's a lobster on your dress. Yes ma’am there certainly is!
